I felt that this would be a good opportunity to make an interview with Rina and get her perspective of Yahoo! as a company and digital network.

Can you tell us about your background?
I have worked in the digital space for almost 10 years now and have seen this space grow immensely!

I have always had an interest in online as the interactive creatives and our abilities to measure online success has always been a fascination of mine. It is also an environment in which no day is ever the same and an industry that allows you to learn new things all the time

What is your role at Yahoo!?
I currently manage the Nordics region from a sales and business development perspective and work with our in-market partner to educate the market on Yahoo! and the great things we are doing in the digital space.

What is the current focus for Yahoo! today ?
Yahoo! is focused on creating deeply personal digital experiences that keep people connected to what matters most to them, across devices and around the globe.

How do you work today to position Yahoo in the market?
Our position is based around Yahoo!’s unique combination of Science + Art + Scale.

We consider this to be a unique combination and one that connects advertisers to the consumers who build their businesses.

Who are your main competitors ?
In the digital landscape, things change so often that anyone can be a competitor!

Tell us about your offers and the reach of the Yahoo network
Our reach across the globe is half a billion, within Sweden we have 2 million unique users, 1 million unique users in Norway, 1.5 million unique users in Denmark and almost a million in Finland.

How do you work in Sweden and Scandinavia?  what do you offer?
In Sweden and Norway, our in-market partner, Keynote Mediagroup manages our day-to-day relationships with our advertisers and agencies. But I’m also regularly in-market meeting with clients too. In terms of what we offer, we’re determined to lead the way in terms of creativity online.

We offer some of the most innovative and impactful ad formats available – both across the Yahoo! Front Page and Yahoo! Mail in Scandinavia – and we’re regularly testing and launching next-generation formats to push the bar of creativity and audience engagement even higher. Yahoo! Behavioural Targeting is another key offering of ours.

This is how we help advertisers pinpoint the most relevant audiences for their messages and Yahoo! Direct Response also drives scale and performance for our advertisers.

Thank you Rina for the interview and I am sure that you will continue to develop great products!

P.S I still think they have a really groovy logo:).
